CeeSuite’s Privacy Policy
 
This is the Privacy Policy (“Policy”) referred to in the CeeSuite Terms of Use (“CeeSuite Terms”). Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalised defined terms have the same meanings given to them in the CeeSuite Terms.
 
This Policy describes how CeeSuite Pte. Ltd. and our subsidiaries, affiliates, associated companies and jointly controlled entities (collectively “CeeSuite”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collect, use, process and disclose your Personal Data through the use of our Application and Website and the mobile applications, websites and digital properties we operate (respectively “Apps” and “Websites”) and in respect of the goods, services, products we offer globally (collectively, “Services”).
“Personal Data” is any information which can be used to identify you or from which you are identifiable. This includes but is not limited to your:

• name, email address, postal address, account names and passwords, telephone and mobile numbers, or other contact information
• nationality, race, date of birth, marital status and religion
• vehicle and insurance information
• image, health and biometric data
• signature, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, or other similar identifier
• professional, employment-related, or education information
• internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and your usage history, interactions and communications on mobile applications and websites
• demographic information
• billing information, bank information, credit card information or other financial information

This Policy applies to our Users, customers, passengers, agents, vendors, suppliers, partners (such as driver and merchant partners), contractors and service providers (collectively “you”, “your” or “yours”).
1. Collection of Your Personal Data
 
We collect Personal Data about you in the ways listed below. We may also combine such Personal Data with other Personal Data in our Possession.

When you voluntarily provide it to us

We collect your Personal Data when you voluntarily provide it to us. For example, you may provide Personal Data when you:

• submit information through our Apps and Websites
• register for, subscribe for, make enquiries on use our Services
• interact with our social media pages and discussion forums
• participate in events, contents and services we organise
• interact with our other Users
• engage services from our Expert Users
• interact with our customer service and technical support functions, or with our employees, agents and representatives
When our Services are used

Personal Data may be collected through the normal operation of our Apps, Websites and Services. Some examples are:

• your location;
• the reviews, feedback, ratings and compliments you provide
• your transactions with us, other Users and other persons
• your public or private chats, communications and public posts using the communication features on our Apps and Websites
• your interactions and usage history on our Apps, Website and in using our Services
• device information (such as hardware model and serial number, IP address, file names and versions and advertising identifiers, or any information that may provide indication of device or app modification); and
• personal data you enter in messages when you use our in-app communication features.
From third party sources
We may collect Personal Data from third party sources in accordance with applicable laws. Such sources include:

• referral programmes
• our business partners and affiliates
• third party service providers
• publicly available data

• from our other Users
• marketing services providers or partners

2. Use of Your Personal Data

We use this information for carefully considered purposes to benefit our Users

Provide, personalise, maintain and improve Services

We may use, analyse, combine and process your Personal Data to:

• provide our Services
• engage or facilitate you to provide goods and services
• operate our services, products, and systems properly
• customise data and analysis for your use
• create, administer and update your user account

• administrate and process transactions you carry out on our Apps and Website

• enable communications and interactions between Users
• process payments or facilitate use of a third party payment processor, as applicable
• conduct for testing, research, analysis and product development
• improve, upgrade, or enhance our Apps, Websites and Services
• develop new Apps, Websites and Services
• provide technical and support for our Apps, Websites and Services
• maintain the quality, safety and security of our Apps, Websites and Services
• perform technical maintenance and internal quality control
• debug, fix and resolve technical and service issues with our Apps, Websites and Services
• identify and communicate offers and promotions
• perform data analysis
• improve data algorithms underlying our Apps, Websites and Services
• customise and personalise our Apps, Websites and Services for individual preferences
• provide predictive or contextual features to our Apps, Websites and Services
• detect, prevent and prosecute for security incidents or other malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity

Legal purposes

We may use  Personal Data we collect to investigate and resolve claims or disputes, or as allowed or required by applicable law. We may also use your Personal Data when we are required, advised, recommended, expected or requested to do so by our legal advisors or any local or foreign legal, regulatory, governmental or other authority. For example, we may use your Personal Data to:

• comply with a court order, subpoena, or other legal or adminstrative process or other legal, governmental or regulatory requirements;
• enforce the CeeSuite Terms or our other terms, policies and agreements; and
• protect our rights or property in the event of or to preempt a claim or dispute.
 
Corporate and financing transaction purposes

We may also use your Personal Data in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, sale of company assets, consolidation, restructuring, financing, offering of securities, business asset and change of control transactions concerning our companies, businesses or assets. Additionally, in the event of CeeSuite’s bankruptcy, insolvency, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, we may not be able to control how Personal Data is transferred or used.

Marketing and promotions

We may use your Personal Data to market products, services, events or promotions of CeeSuite and our  partners, sponsors and advertisers. For example, we may:

• send you alerts, newsletters, updates, mailers, promotional materials, special privileges, festive and birthday greetings; and
• notify, invite and manage your participation in our events or activities;

We may communicate such marketing to you by post, telephone call, short message service, online messaging service, push notifications to your mobile devices and by email.
 
If you wish to unsubscribe to the processing of your Personal Data for marketing and promotions, please click on the unsubscribe link in the relevant email or message. Alternatively, you may also update your preferences in our App settings.
3. Use of Your Personal Data

CeeSuite may disclose your Personal Data for the purposes set out in this Policy. 

With service providers and business partners

We may provide Personal Data to our vendors, consultants, marketing partners, research firms, and other service providers or business partners. This includes:

• payment processors and facilitators
• background check and anti-money laundering service providers
• cloud storage providers
• marketing partners and marketing platform providers
• data analytics providers
• research partners, including those performing surveys or research projects in partnership with us or on our behalf
merchant partners
• insurance and financing partners
• vendors and suppliers

The collection, further use, and/or disclosure of your information by Third-Party Providers or by other third parties is not the responsibility of CeeSuite. Rather, such collection, use, and/or disclosure is governed by the third parties’ privacy policies.

With our legal advisors and governmental authorities

We may share your Personal Data with our legal advisors, law enforcement officials, government authorities and other third parties for the legal purposes set forth in this Policy.

Exclusions for your public interactions on apps and Websites

If you participate in certain features of our Apps and Websites (e.g. interact with other Users, engage other Users for Services, add to your publicly displayed profile information, share or post feedback or information or participate in discussion forums, and chats, or interact with our social media pages), please note that any information you or others voluntarily disclose through us these features, becomes available to the public and/or other users. If you choose to provide access to designated individuals, please be aware that any information you post will be visible to such individuals for their use. CeeSuite is not responsible for the information that you or others choose to disclose publicly on this Site, and neither CeeSuite’s nor others’ use of such information is subject to this Policy.


4. Retention for your Personal Data

Personal information is retained for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it is collected, including legitimate business reasons, and/or legal and regulatory requirements. Once your Personal Data is no longer necessary for the Services or the purposes as set forth in this Policy or we no longer have a legal or business purpose for retaining your Personal Data, we take steps to prevent access or use of such Personal Data for any purpose other than compliance with this Policy, or for purposes of safety, security, fraud prevention and detection.

5. International Transfers of Personal Data

Your Personal Data may be transferred from the country, state and city (“Home Country”) in which you are present while using our services to another country, state and city (“Alternate Country”). You understand and consent to the transfer of your Personal Data from your Home Country to the Alternate Country.

6. Cookies and Advertising on Third Party Platforms

CeeSuite, and third parties with whom we partner, may use cookies, web beacons, tags, scripts, local shared objects such as HTML5 and Flash (sometimes called “flash cookies”), advertising identifiers (including mobile identifiers such as Apple’s IDFA or Google’s Advertising ID) and similar technology (“Cookies”) in connection with your use of the Websites and Apps. Cookies may have unique identifiers, and reside, among other places, on your computer or mobile device, in emails we send to you, and on our web pages. Cookies may transmit Personal Data about you and your use of the Service, such as your browser type, search preferences, IP address, data relating to advertisements that have been displayed to you or that you have clicked on, and the date and time of your use. Cookies may be persistent or stored only during an individual session.

CeeSuite may allow third parties to use Cookies on the Websites and Apps to collect the same type of Personal Data for the same purposes CeeSuite does for itself. Third parties may be able to associate the Personal Data they collect with other Personal Data they have about you from other sources. We do not necessarily have access to or control over the Cookies they use.

Additionally, we may share non-personally identifiable Personal Data with third parties, such as advertising identifiers, or a cryptographic hash of a common account identifier (such as an email address), to facilitate the display of targeted advertising on third party platforms.

If you do not wish for your Personal Data to be collected via Cookies on the Websites, you may deactivate cookies by adjusting your internet browser settings to disable, block or deactivate cookies, by deleting your browsing history and clearing the cache from your internet browser. You may also limit our sharing of some of this Personal Data through your App (Settings > Privacy > Ads) and mobile device settings.
7. Protection of Personal Data

We will take reasonable legal, organisational and technical measures to ensure that your Personal Data is protected. This includes measures to prevent data from getting lost, or used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your Personal Data to our employees on a need to know basis. Those processing your Personal Data will only do so in an authorised manner and are required to treat your information with confidentiality. We do not share corporate and financial data you provide to us with any other User.

Nevertheless, please understand that the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Data transmitted through any online means, therefore, any transmission remains at your own risk.

8. Links To Third-Party Services

CeeSuite may provide links or access to third-party websites or other digital properties, including social networking websites. Since we do not control third-party digital properties and are not responsible for any information you may provide while on such digital properties, we encourage you to read the privacy policies on these digital properties before providing any of your information on such digital properties.

9. Amendments and Updates

CeeSuite shall have the right to modify, update or amend the terms of this Policy at any time by uploading the updated Policy on the Website. By continuing to use the Apps, Websites or Services, purchase products from CeeSuite or continuing to communicate or engage with CeeSuite following the modifications, updates or amendments to this Policy, you signify your acceptance of such modifications, updates or amendments.
